Managing VC Principal

Dive In's Thesis

Companies are experiencing an existential talent crisis, with 77% of companies unable to find sufficient talent since the pandemic. Diverse companies that solve the talent shortage make up a trillion dollar market opportunity. Dive In was recently launched by seasoned talent operators and executive coaches with a proven track record.  We invest in and grow companies that marry unique talent pools and technology.

What we are seeking

We are seeking a Managing VC Principal who will be an indispensable part of a small team that is building and launching a new firm. Likely a successful investor and VC enthusiast (demonstrable track record of success in early stage investing at a successful firm) who also wants to build an organization of consequence and social impact.

Our firm was launched in late 2022. We have completed a first close and have made 6 investments, mostly in founders we have been working with for years. While our talent and diversity focus and post-investment coaching is non-negotiable, we are open and excited about a world-class investment professional to have influence and decision-making authority in many aspects of fund management. This position would receive carry.

Investment Expert

Our best guess as to who you are

You are an investment expert on a path to eventually lead a firm or launch your own firm, but you are open and excited by the opportunity to start one now with the right team. You enjoy investment, but you also have a desire to build. Furthermore, you have reasonable expectations about first time funds and what it means to build from scratch. You are bullish about talent strategies/the human future of work, and inherently see why the current moment is both a huge challenge and a huge opportunity. You care about diversity and view it as a strategy to outcompete.  You may also be curious about our coaching strategy, perhaps even skeptical. We like skeptics.
